BLH_Handout_2023_r4-pages-1 Every month we donate 375 lbs. of dog food to The Seeing Eye in NJ. It is to honor the memory of Oz, a Seeing Eye trainee who passed away from cancer. We donated 1600 lbs. of dog food to Pearl’s Place Rescue in TX to help meet their desperate need for food. They are typical of many struggling shelters that we help feed. Supporting our military is exceedingly important to us, so we donated a pallet of food to the Veteran’s Community Project in MO This is one of the official greeters (and taste testers) at County Road Animal Rescue in TN. As you can see, he is most grateful for the pallet of food that arrived for him to share with his buddies at the shelter! Recipients of one of our Henry Hugs packages to validate & support front line workers & shelters We donated a dog scale so that Rescue Heals could make food plans for their deaf and/or blind dogs Silver Fur K9 Rescue & Retirement in OH was another recipient of a pallet of dog food. It SOUNDS like 1600 lbs. should last a long time, but these shelters go through it quickly as they ae filled….or overfilled due to demand. Multiple times a year we ship 1500 lbs. of dog food to CC’s Cupboard in OH for their drive-through pet pantry program. A Lab for Life in OK received one of our pallets to the joy of these guys here. Animal Charity Humane in OH received a pallet of food for this guy and his friends. Ramp donated to Big Guy Littles Dog Sanctuary, MD to make life easier for his tiny rescues The stray dog situation in OK is so bad that Mercy Sakes Rescue uses some of the food that we ship to them to go out into the community and feed abandoned dogs. Some VERY grateful dogs at PAWS McAlester, OK We support our troops overseas and shipped 65 packages of soup mix Drive-by at the FIUDO Pet Food Bank, OR Our food shipments are carefully reviewed by quality control officers such as this one at Coffee County Animal Control, TN Deliveries being made by the Animal Welfare Center in Ashtabula, OH We ship food monthly to the Senior Center of Maury Co. TN so that the seniors on fixed incomes can feed their dogs. We ship food monthly to the Little Big Dog Rescue in VA. They are a sanctuary for senior dogs. This is Hudu, 15 yrs. old.
