Be Like Henry is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit dedicated to healing dogs and their people.
The bond between humans and their dogs is unique. Be Like Henry is passionate about projects that create & strengthen those relationships. Who rescues whom is an ongoing question…our goal is to help, regardless of one’s answer.
Our concentration is getting dog food to struggling shelters and rescues as dogs are starving due to lack of funding. We’ve now added a mental health initiative for front line workers. Staff at vet clinics and shelters are recording scary high numbers of suicides. Burnout is rampant. We send boxes of goodies with notes of validation to let them know they are “seen” and “heard.” Their feedback has brought us to our knees with tears as we witness the impact of such small gestures.
